Magis Society: Strengthening the Jesuit Mission

The Magis Society serves as Brebeuf’s leadership giving society and encompasses a distinguished group of donors whose cumulative contributions to Brebeuf Jesuit equate to $1,500 or more each fiscal year.  Each year, more than 300 Magis Society donors answer the call - those who have made a gift or pledge of $1,500 or more to support The Brebeuf Fund. Our Magis Society donors provide the crucial support which makes exemplary programs and initiatives at Brebeuf Jesuit possible.

Visionary – $20,000-$49,999
Platinum – $10,000-$19,999
Gold – $5,000-$9,999
Maroon – $2,500-$4,999
AMDG – $1,500-$2,499

Magis Moments

Magis (pronounced "màh-gis") is a Latin word that means "more." It is related to Ad majorem Dei gloriam, a Latin phrase meaning "for the greater glory of God." Magis refers to the philosophy of doing more, for Christ, and therefore doing more for others. Through our series entitled “Magis Moments,”  we have highlighted the people and programs, supported by our leadership donors, that go above and beyond to serve our community “for the greater glory of God.”

Ways to Make Magis Gift

Every gift makes an immediate and lasting impact for our students, school and community!  Cumulative giving of $1,500 or more to Brebeuf Jesuit each fiscal year allows alumni, friends, parents and families to be recognized as Magis Society members.

There are several ways to make a gift and many influential combinations in which to reach your cumulative gift of $1,500 for Magis Society Leadership recognition.
