BISTRO 101

Brebeuf Bistro is the school’s largest fundraiser hosted by the Brebeuf Jesuit Mothers Association. Each year we gather together to celebrate our wonderful community and support our school with a live and silent auction. This year, we will gather on February 25, 2023 at the Roof Ballroom. Proceeds from Bistro directly impact the students, faculty, staff and programs at Brebeuf Jesuit. The revenue from Bistro allows the Mothers Association to support a wide variety of initiatives at the school—including scholarships and financial aid, co-curricular programs, faculty professional development and special events.

Brebeuf brings families and students from many different sending schools together. Bistro is an opportunity to enjoy old friends, meet new ones and support our fantastic school by the purchase of your ticket alone or participating in our silent and live auctions.

Yes, we will have assigned tables. If you are interested in captaining a table, contact Leah Gonzalez at lgonzalez@brebeuf.org. If you register individually or as a couple for Bistro, we will make all attempts to put you at a table with parents who have students in the same class.

Tickets are $150 a person or $300 a couple and are available on our Tickets and Sponsorships page.

No, you are only expected to enjoy yourself! However, keep in mind that there will be silent auction items you can bid on for as little as $20. You can also support Bistro in a number of other ways:

• Become a sponsor at the various sponsorship levels
• Team up with other parents for a one-of-a-kind priceless experience
• Snap up a gift card from our Instabuys

Each year, we have exciting live and silent auction items for you to bid on either alone or as part of a group of friends. In years past, auction items have included vacations, sports packages, “Brebeuf Gems”, jewelry, spa and fitness packages, gift cards and even a puppy! You will receive instructions along with a link to register to bid.

The silent auction opens online prior to the event so be sure to register with Qtego to receive updates and peruse items.  You can set a max bid and let Qtego do the work for you during the event so you can mingle with friends and still snag the items you want. The silent auction will close on the 25th. 

There is also a robust set of Instabuy items available at a variety of price points that are a great way to support the school.  These often sell out early, so be sure to grab those early!

Fund-A-Need is a giving opportunity that meets a current need of the school. In the past, this has funded bleachers in the West Gym, the Bravewalk, the Brebeuf Fund and Science Wing renovations.

At Brebeuf Jesuit, every student is known and cherished. Please join us at Bistro by contributing to The Brave Campaign and support the remarkable students of Brebeuf Jesuit. Your gifts provide the critical difference that allows Brebeuf Jesuit to offer a profound student experience with a 12:1 student-to- faculty ratio; state-of-the-art, dynamic and engaging learning environments; financial aid and scholarship support; a competitive athletic program; nearly 15 musical and theatre performances annually; a beautiful and well-maintained 60-acre campus; more than 50 clubs and co-curriculars; spiritual retreats; a 41,000 square-foot Wellness Center; incredible faculty; and a foundation for a lifetime of service to others.

This year’s dress code is cocktail attire!

This year’s event will run from 6:30-11:00 p.m.  Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the silent auction will close around 9:00 p.m.

Once the list of auction items is available for viewing, Brebeuf will send out an announcement. Online bidding is expected to begin a week prior to the event.  Several communications will be sent directly to the primary email address on file with Brebeuf and information can be found in our weekly In-Depth newsletter. As the event nears, you will be assigned a bidder number through our auction provider, Qtego, which will allow you to utilize your phone for bidding and tracking your bids. A credit card is required.

While we wish you could join us in person at the event, you can still participate in a number of ways!

1. You can bid on silent auction items virtually during the event.
2. You can purchase/donate a faculty/staff ticket
3. You can make a direct contribution to the evening's Fund-A-Need campaign.
