State of Indiana Legislative Choice Scholarship Program

Legislation in the State of Indiana has expanded the eligibility guidelines for the School Choice Scholarship program. With this legislation, many Indiana families are eligible for a School Choice Scholarship, which may be used to offset the cost of tuition. 

The application process for the Choice Scholarship Program is included when you complete the Brebeuf Jesuit financial aid application process.

Brebeuf Jesuit is pleased to offer a Brebeuf Jesuit Merit Scholarship to students who score in the 95th to 99th national percentile of the High School Placement Test (HSPT).  All students who take the HSPT by January 1, 2025, will be considered for this scholarship during our admissions process.  If a student takes the HSPT at another Catholic high school, that test result must be sent to the Brebeuf Jesuit Admissions Office from the testing school by January 1, 2025 for consideration.

A HSPT Score in the 99th national percentile qualifies for a $3,000 merit scholarship award.  This award is renewable each year as long as the student maintains a 3.2 GPA or higher.

A HSPT Score in the 95th to 98th national percentile qualifies for a $2,500 merit scholarship award. The $2,500 award is renewable each year as long as the student maintains a 3.2 GPA or higher.

Scholarships are available to assist with costs for various educational, service and immersion trips organized and sponsored by Brebeuf Jesuit.

The Bring Your Own Technology (B.Y.O.T.) grant program helps families meet the technology needs of their student. We realize that this expense may present a financial hardship for some families; therefore, we work with those families individually, to ease that burden. This program operates as a reimbursement of your expenses for technology hardware and peripherals (i.e. keyboard, speaker, insurance). Please note that software is not a covered expense under this program. Brebeuf Jesuit will reimburse those families up to $650 for any items purchased between April 15, 2024 and September 30, 2024.

Information regarding this grant program will sent to qualified families in April 2024.

The average textbook cost for each student is $300.  We realize that this large lump-sum payment may present a financial hardship for some families; therefore, we work with those families individually to ease that burden. Further information about our book voucher program will be sent to those that qualify once our textbook list for the 2024-2025 school year is available.
