Parent And Student Essays
Brebeuf Jesuit requires that both the applicant and a parent submit an essay that is uploaded with the application for admission. The essay prompt is provided in the online application.
High School Placement Test
Taking the High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a required step in the application process in order to be considered for admission to Brebeuf Jesuit.
The Brebeuf Jesuit Admissions Committee reviews a portfolio of application materials for every applicant, and the High School Placement Test (HSPT) score report is considered as a part of a holistic application review. Students must earn a national percentile composite score of 60 or higher or a total CSQ score of 100 or higher.

Transcripts
Transcripts from an applicant’s 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years are required. For applicants applying for Early Admission, they should submit available grades from the 8th grade by October 1, 2025.
Standardized Testing
Submission of middle school standardized testing results is required.
Attendance and Discipline Reports
Teacher Recommendation Forms
Applicants will request that two teachers complete recommendation forms.
- English or Social Studies teacher and
- Math or Science Teacher.
Applicants will request the teacher recommendations through the online application, and if applicants would like Brebeuf Jesuit Admissions to send an alternate request form to a teacher, please email the request to admissions@brebeuf.org.
