Band and Orchestra

Optional Band and Orchestra Summer Homework Practice

All band and orchestra students are encouraged to practice throughout the summer and familiarize themselves with the music, part assignments, and recordings in preparation for the beginning of the year. This is not required summer homework, but by practicing and reviewing this music, it will help everyone to hit the ground running in the fall. Mr. Lee will be providing hard copies of all materials on the first day of class, so you do not need to print any of the provided resources.

The College Board has divided American history into nine historical periods, and your APUSH summer assignment covers the first of those historical periods, the years 1491-1607.

The assignment is pretty straightforward: complete the Period One term review packet. The packet is due on the first day of school, August 9 to either Mr. Tague or Ms. Wissing depending on your teacher. You can address any questions to Mr. Tague at atague@brebeuf.org

APUSH Packet

AP World History – Abdelmaseih

You will begin your exploration of the course material during the summer. This assignment will cover the first unit of the course. Not only will this assignment provide you an in depth preview of the scope of the content in a unit, it will also provide you with an understanding of the level of detail within the course, as well as an example of the type of analysis necessary to succeed in this course and on the exam.

In order to complete the packet, you will need to access this link.

The packet can be found at this link.

This link provides you access to a textbook for the course. This is NOT the textbook we are asking you to purchase for this course. Download the pdf or save the link because at times we will need to access it.

You will complete the packet in full, using detailed and complete sentences in your work. If you should have any questions, you can reach out to dabdelmaseih@brebeuf.org

The assignment should be hand written, legibly, in black ink.

The assignment will be due on August 9.

AP Bio -Sutton

The purpose of this summer assignment is to familiarize you with the format of the AP Biology exam and types of questions it contains, and to review some basic biology and chemistry concepts you have studied before. This will allow us a jumpstart on our year and more time to cover the material.

Please let Ms. Sutton know if you have any questions (jsutton@brebeuf.org).
