• Prerequisite:  Grade 10, 11, 12,  Theatre 1, 2, or 3 OR instructor approval

• Fulfills Visual and Performing Arts Credit 

This course will introduce students to the basics of film analysis, cinematic elements, genre, and narrative structure and will help students develop skills to recognize, analyze, describe and enjoy film as an art and entertainment form.  The class includes weekly readings, screenings, and short writing assignments..  Some R-rated films are included.
