College Counseling
Brebeuf Jesuit College Counseling provides a comprehensive and personalized approach to the college search and selection process with six full-time counselors.
The counselor to student ratio is 50:1 per class and allows for a very individualized level of service. College counselors take academic, social, and financial aspects of each student into consideration when helping students and families throughout the application process. Our goal is to successfully transition students to life beyond Brebeuf.
College Visitation Policy for Students
For planned absences, parents or students must notify the Dean at least seven days in advance. Parent and teacher signatures will be required for all such absences. College visitations also require the approval of the student’s College Counselor. Absences which extend school vacations require the approval of the Dean seven days in advance of the last school day before the holiday. Planned absence forms need to be picked up by the student after the Deans have approved the absence. Students must then obtain the required teacher signatures and return the Permitted Absence Form to the Dean’s Office prior to the absence.
