Audition Information for Brebeuf Jesuit Band and Orchestra Ensembles
When choosing to study at Brebeuf Jesuit, students have the opportunity to explore interests and passions while experiencing an array of enrichment opportunities. The Brebeuf Jesuit Visual and Performing Arts Department teaches students to be creative, collaborative, compassionate, and confident. Additionally, studies have shown that students who participate in music-related activities during high school benefit academically.
Band and Orchestra Audition Details
Band and orchestra electives are offered each semester, and it is preferred that students enroll for both semesters. Band and orchestra auditions are required, and the audition process is similar to a placement test that helps to ensure that students are placed in the best ensemble for their skill level. There is a place for all ability levels, and no one will be cut from the Brebeuf Jesuit Band and Orchestra Program.
Please contact Brandon Lee, Director of Bands and Orchestras, at blee@brebeuf.org to schedule an alternate audition or with any questions.
