PSAT test for sophomores and juniors Both sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT test, which is a preliminary SAT test. For juniors only: the PSAT is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). The PSAT is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. It also gives you a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools. For more information about the PSAT, please visit the College Board website.
Students have received information about the PSAT and practice booklets in their English classes. Students will need to bring at least two #2 pencils and a calculator. Room assignments have been posted around the building. Students are responsible for knowing their room assignments and arriving on tme for their exams. Students should be in their seats by 8:10 a.m. The test for regular timed students should end around noon. For students with extended time, it should end around 1:30 pm. When students are finished testing, they will have the remainder of the day off.
ACT PLAN test for freshmen Freshmen will be taking the ACT PLAN test, which is used to evaluate the academic achievement level of freshmen, while also providing a career interest assessment for each student. This test will also give the student practice in taking the ACT Exam (one of the most commonly used college entrance examinations). The information provided will help students know what areas are strengths and weaknesses for them. Extended time will not be provided for this test.

Seniors will have the day off for college visits.
Lunch will not be served on Wednesday, but the Cafeteria will be open and snacks will be available at Margot’s Café.
