Boys basketball awards banquet

On April 7, the Brebeuf Jesuit boys basketball team held their annual awards banquet, and the following awards were presented.
Freshman Coach Joel Clem presented the freshman team awards and certificates. Two special awards were given out:
Most Improved – Ben Powell ’14
Defensive Award – Jake Heldt ’14
JV Coach Michael Bennett presented JV awards and certificates, along with two special awards:
Most Improved – Gabe Leschot ’14
Defensive Award – Malik Ferguson ’13
Varsity Coach Scott McClelland presented the varsity award, and three special awards:
Most Improved – PJ Thompson ’14
Defensive Award – Mike Lenz ’12
Chief’s Award – Bob Dillon ’11
The program concluded with a highlight film of the past season and special senior awards from Coach McClelland. Coach McClelland recognized all of the seniors in the program and his/her importance to the program – managers Maggie Oesterle and Layne Johantgen, and senior players Bob Dillon, Michael Onuorah and Trent VanWinkle.
