Brebeuf Jesuit’s Visual and Performing Arts Department has three major sub-categories: Art, Music, and Speech. Each of these areas offers a wide range of courses providing a solid background in the fine arts.
Many of the Visual and Performing Arts Department’s faculty members are working artists who have distinguished themselves in their professional areas. In addition, they are active in a variety of clubs and organizations beyond the scope of the department.
This dedication to quality education in the arts has translated into success for Brebeuf Jesuit graduates. Our alumni have gone on to careers in legal profession, filmmaking, dramatic performance, and all facets of communications. Graduates have studied art at the University of Cincinnati and Rhode Island School of Design as well as the architecture schools at Carnegie Mellon and Arizona State.
