Clubs and Organizations
At Brebeuf Jesuit, students can participate in a variety of clubs that open them to new experiences and introduce them to cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, and linguistic differences.
“Our Model Seder, held during Passover, gives students and faculty alike an opportunity to learn about Judaism’s traditions and history. The Jewish Student Union serves to educate the Brebeuf Jesuit community about what it means to be Jewish in Indianapolis.”
--Benjy Katz ’04
“I enjoy the Black Student Union because it’s a club that uplifts African Americans and presents them in a positive light. Our club welcomes everyone as members and helps to make the school aware of the diversity and uniqueness of our culture.”
--Brittany Carlton ’05
Diversity Dialogues
The Diversity Dialogues are quarterly moderated discussions on topics that connect to diversity and its impact on the life of the school, the city, the nation, and beyond. At these events, Brebeuf Jesuit students can explore a wide range of issues and share their opinions with their peers in a respectful, educational environment. Diversity of thought is welcomed, encouraged, and affirmed in these dialogues.
Annual Festivals and Convocations
Brebeuf Jesuit students open their minds and hearts to the diversity within our society and around the world at annual events, including the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Convocation, the Celebration of Black Culture, the Asian Festival, a Model Seder, Hispanic Festival, and Irish Festival.
