"A Jesuit education is really important to me.  Having a Jesuit education shows other schools that I care, in essence, about all people and their beliefs.  Many people discriminiate on other religious/beliefs/ethnic groups if that particular group is not 'your' group.  I feel that Brebeuf has taught me to love others as I wish to be loved as well.  Having a Jesuit education shows character to treat others with respect.  I feel that the golden rule is really put into effect and carried well with the Jesuit education."

"We are sending our sons, Brendan '10, Niall '11 and Aidan '13, to Brebeuf Jesuit because we believe it is an academically rigorous school which will challenge and prepare them well for college and life.  There are other good high schools we could have chosen, but Brebeuf adds some very important intangibles that others do not: intellectual thoughtfulness, a religious component which is interfaith, a supportive community, and preparation for leadership."

"Brebeuf and the Jesuit Community are an important part of the life of the Church here in Archdiocese of Indianapolis.  A significant number of Brebeuf Jesuit graduates serve as leaders in the business, civic, and Church community here and elsewhere.  Brebeuf Jesuit is part of the fabric of the life of the archdiocese and an important component of Catholic Schools here in the city."

"I could not imagine a better high school experience than what I had at Brebeuf.  In the classroom, I have received an education that is second to none in preparing me for college and beyond.  Brebeuf has challenged me to think critically and to use my education in service to others.  But my education did not end in the classroom.  Brebeuf has helped me to grow in my faith and become a servant leader.  I would not be the man I am today without Brebeuf and the extraordinary people who make it special."

“My husband, a Brebeuf alum, has always been unquestionably committed to the value of a Jesuit education. However, I do not think I truly appreciated the value of the Brebeuf education until my eldest went away to college this fall. Alex graduated from Brebeuf this past spring. About a month into classes, she told me she felt Brebeuf had prepared her so well for college. Alex said the curriculum and teachers at Brebeuf challenged her to be ready for college classes. She also thought the PRTs taught her to balance her time well – which she is learning is critical for a college student's sanity. Because of the open relationship between students and Brebeuf faculty, Alex felt comfortable e-mailing a professor a month into school when she could not make his office hours. He told her he rarely heard from freshmen and he was thrilled to talk with her. Brebeuf really does nurture all aspects of students' character and prepares them to succeed not only academically but in other ways which are equally, if not more, important for a well-rounded individual. As a parent, you cannot put a value on knowing you have given your child the tools to be a successful individual. But the feeling you get knowing how well your freshman made that difficult transition to college is priceless. So thank you, not only for preparing Alex for college, but because you did, it was easier for me to let her go.”
