Dear Prospective Parent/Guardian:

Freshmen families applying for financial assistance are encouraged to complete and return all forms as soon as possible before the postmarked deadline date of January 11, 2010.

Financial aid awards are for one year only. You must reapply each year.

Please read the instructions carefully. This application must be mailed with your 2008 Tax Return, 2008 W-2’s and a check for $21.00 to:

Each parent must submit a separate PSAS application and tax information if the couple’s status is separated, divorced or never married. If you need additional application forms, please contact Carolyn Knorr in the Business Office at 524.7106.

Do not mail PSAS paperwork to Brebeuf Jesuit. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed by PSAS. Those applications received after the postmarked deadline of January 11, 2010 will be considered in the next round of deliberations and notified at the end of April 2010.

PSAS will mail a confidential report to Brebeuf Jesuit which will be evaluated by the Financial Aid Committee to determine an aid package based on individual need. If you have checked any boxes in Part J of the PSAS application form indicating unusual circumstances please send a letter of explanation directly to Brebeuf Jesuit. Do not include the letter of explanation with your application to PSAS. These circumstances will be taken into consideration by the Financial Aid Committee.

Freshmen families who meet the January 11, 2010 application deadline will receive notice of their financial aid award along with their acceptance letter in February.
