High School Placement Test
The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is offered on three different Saturday mornings in the fall to prospective 8th grade students considering Brebeuf Jesuit for their high school. There is no fee for the exam. Students need to bring two No. 2 pencils with them.
The placement test is part of the admissions process and is required by all freshman applicants. In order to receive an application to Brebeuf Jesuit, students generally receive a composite score at the 60th percentile or above.
For the Class of 2015 we are offering the test on the following Saturdays:
- October 16
- October 30
- November 13
Check-in will begin at 8:30 am; students should arrive by 8:45 am. The test begins promptly at 9 am and takes approximately three hours. If your student requires extended time testing, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@brebeuf.org or by phone at 317.524.7151 to submit the proper documentation at least one week prior to testing.
Pass/Fail results will be e-mailed to families as soon as scores are received by our office (generally 10-14 business days after the exam has been administered). Qualified students will be encouraged to begin work on the application. Students who do not qualify will be invited to re-take the exam. Scores will be mailed in hard copy to the primary residence of the student.
