Computer Science – 1 credit
All freshmen take Computer Applications.
English – 8 credits
Courses for freshmen, sophomore and juniors are specified; seniors have a variety of options for their last two credits.
Math – 6 credits
Required courses are Algebra I (two semesters), Algebra II (two semesters) and Geometry (two semesters).
World Language – 4 credits
Latin, French and Spanish are offered. Etymology is also a popular elective.
Physical Education and Health – 3 credits
Two semesters of Physical Education must be completed before the beginning of sophomore year. Health is taken during junior year.
Religious Studies and Community Service – 6 credits
At each grade level, a one-semester course is specified as required earning four of the six credits. In addition, during either the sophomore or junior year, students are required to take the Biblical Studies course earning one credit. The remaining credit is earned through Community Service course during the junior or senior year, which includes the requirement of 30 hours of service to the community.
Science – 6 credits
All freshmen take Biology. In addition, students must take one full year of either Chemistry or Physics and one additional year-long science course.
Social Studies – 6 credits
All freshmen take World History and Civilizations, and sophomores take U.S. History. During the senior year, students are required to take one semester each of Economics and Government.
Visual and Performing Arts – 2 credits
Two credits in the area of speech are required. Students are encouraged to also take a visual arts or music course. A variety of elective courses are available in visual arts, as well as vocal and instrumental music.
