Brave Days (Shadow Visits)

Brave for a Day (Shadow Visit)

Any 8th grade student interested in attending Brebeuf Jesuit has the opportunity to come visit for a day of classes. This is an excellent opportunity for the student to experience a day in the life of a Brebeuf Jesuit freshman.

Approximately 40 days have been assigned as Brave Days between September and February. Students must come on one of the assigned days and we prefer that visiting students spend the entire day.  The dates are:

September 16, 17, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30

October 1, 5, 7, 26, 27

November 2, 9, 11, 12, 18, 19, 30

December 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 14, 16, 17

January 11, 13, 18, 21

February 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, 18, 22, 24, 25

Visiting 8th graders may request a current Brebeuf Jesuit freshman as the host student. If a host student is not requested, one will be selected from the freshman class whose areas of interest and/or academic abilities may be compatible with the visiting student.

Brave Day guests are asked to report to the main lobby by 7:45 am and can be picked up at the main entrance or curbside at 3:10 pm. Prospective students may be permitted to attend before or after school athletic practices if cleared through Mike Marshall, Athletic Director, prior to their visit. Mr. Marshall can be reached at mcmarshall@brebeuf.org or 317.524.7175.

Visitors should wear casual clothing suitable for school. Jeans are permitted as long as they do not have any holes or tears. Students will not need to bring a lunch or money for lunch as our gracious Dad’s Club provides a lunch pass during their visit.

For questions about Brave Days, please contact admissions@brebeuf.org or 317.524.7151.

We look forward to having students visit Brebeuf Jesuit, home of the Braves!
